The Zenith Chronomaster Revival Manufacture Edition 03.Z386.400/60.C843 debuted in 2020 as part of the Chronomaster Revival line, drawing directly on archival material from the original El Primero A386 of 1969. The defining feature of this edition is its dial, based on a previously unused prototype discovered within Zeniths manufacture archives, distinguished by three chronograph sub-dials executed in differing shades of blue.

The watch is housed in a 38 mm stainless steel case that reproduces the proportions and profile of the original A386, including its faceted lugs and polished surfaces. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres. A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a tachymeter scale is printed around the dial periphery.

The white lacquered dial is fitted with applied faceted hour markers and hands filled with Super-LumiNova. The chronograph layout consists of a 30-minute counter at 3 oclock, a 12-hour counter at 6 oclock, and a small seconds display at 9 oclock, each rendered in a distinct blue tone. A date aperture is positioned between 4 and 5 oclock, consistent with the historical El Primero A386 configuration.

Powering the watch is the automatic El Primero 400 calibre, operating at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour. The movement comprises 326 components, employs a column-wheel chronograph mechanism, and provides a power reserve of approximately 50 hours.

The Chronomaster Revival Manufacture Edition 03.Z386.400/60.C843 is delivered on a blue alligator leather strap secured by a stainless steel pin buckle. In addition to the watch, the presentation includes a reproduction of the original prototype dial, underscoring the archival basis of this edition.
