The Big Crown ProPilot Altimeter was introduced at Baselworld 2014. The ProPilot features an altimeter which indicates the altitude in feet. One of the special features is that it is able to show the change in altitude in more or less real time. The watch measures the air pressure through an aneroid capsule system and based on that, decides the altitude. It features an integrated Swiss mechanical barometric altimeter and barometer movement (developed with the specialist Thommen).
The Oris Big Crown ProPilot Altimeter is powerd by the Oris caliber 733, which is based on Sellita SW200 automatic movement.
