The Longines Avigation Oversize Crown is based on an aviators watch produced by Longines in the 1920s. The bezel is marked with indices and can be turned in both directions; its fluted edge enables the pilot to manipulate it with great precision. The oversize winding stem and crown stand away from the bezel, which means that a pilot wearing gloves can turn the latter unhindered. The gold-plated, luminous, pear-shaped hands contrast well against the black dial, which features white Arabic numerals. This watch, fitted with an L704 self-winding mechanical movement, shows the hours, minutes and seconds, and has a second timezone as well as a date aperture at 3 oclock. The steel case has a diameter of 41 mm. The curved horns fit snugly on the wrist. And finally, the black alligator strap echoes the black dial.

Bought the watch for myself after I seen it in store. Once I tried it on I couldn't take it off. THE BEST EVER! Makes anything I wear look that much more polished. Save up ladies this is a must have!

I received this very quickly after ordering. It was larger than I had expected but that is alright as I am a larger woman. It looks quite nice on my wrist. I have not had any blems with the crystals falling out as some others have mentioned. It has a good quality band. I don't believe it is worth nearly as much as the compare to price. I love this watch.
