The domed dial consists of multiple layers, with a black sandblasted base and a celestial vault displaying the northern hemispheres night sky. Two sculpted and hand-engraved gold dragons surround the rotating sky chart disc. The bezel, engraved to mirror the dragon scales, required approximately 50 hours of manual finishing.

At the heart of the watch is the manually wound 945, composed of 570 components. Functions include hours, minutes, orbital flying tourbillon, sidereal time display, sky chart, zodiac calendar, date, and minute repeater. The tourbillon completes a full counter-clockwise orbit around the dial every sidereal day (23h, 56m, 4.1s). The movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers a 40-hour power reserve.
