Fabian Spartacus Cancellara is a Swiss cycling legend who not only won multiple world and Olympic championships but also wore the Tour de Frances yellow leaders jersey for 29 days and won eight stages. The last time Cancellara raced in France was in 2016, and this year, he returns to the biggest bike race in the world as the owner of the Tudor Pro Cycling team. The team makes its TdF debut this year, and the Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono Yellow celebrates that memorable event and the successes of the team owner. The new 43mm carbon-cased chronograph will be on the wrists of the Tudor Pro Cycling riders competing in this years Tour de France, as well as on team owner Fabian Cancellaras. Tudor didnt name the watch after him, but since he wore the yellow jersey for no fewer than 29 days (having won eight stages in his TdF days), the watch pays homage to the man and the biggest bike race in the world.Racing the 112th Tour de France with the Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono YellowIt all started with the black and red?Pelagos FXD Chrono Cycling Edition. Then came the Pelagos FXD Chrono Pink with an Italian Giro twist, and now theres the TdF-themed Yellow. The watch comes in a 43 53 13.2mm carbon case with automatic caliber MT5813. This COSC-certified chronograph movement (based on Breitlings B01 caliber) has a 70-hour power reserve and is manufactured in Le Locle by Kenissi. The matte black carbon composite case has fixed strap bars, and it holds a one-piece black fabric strap with a yellow stripe and matching hardware. The cycling details include a 45 angled rehaut with a recalibrated tachymeter focused on the speeds cyclists reach. When riding through a tunnel in the Alps, applied luminescent ceramic composite hour markers will come in handy for a glance at the time.
