The chronograph is powered by the IWC-manufactured caliber 69380, a self-winding column-wheel chronograph movement with a 46-hour power reserve. Its vertical dial layout positions the 30-minute counter prominently at 12 oclock, with a central chronograph seconds hand and small seconds at 6 oclock. The chronograph pushers offer precise tactile feedback thanks to the column-wheel architecture, while the double-pawl winding system ensures efficient bidirectional winding.
