In production from circa 1996 to 2005, the IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 is the second of IWC's pilot's watches to be fitted with a split-second chronograph. It was available in either stainless steel, yellow gold or platinum, with various dials, and with day-discs in different languages. The stainless steel version was available in a strap or bracelet; the platinum execution too had five pieces made on the bracelet. From 2003 onwards the 3713 was exclusively available with Spitfire-type dials.
Reference IW3713-41 has a Stainless Steel case and a Silver 'Spitfire' dial.

I ordered two of these watches. Neat idea but very poorly exicuted. Looks very cheap and scratches very easily. Also, doesn't stay crossed. Sent both of them back.

Hesitated at first, but sooo glad I bought this. Ceramic is much nicer than the less expensive plastic and the crystals are much better quality....well worth the price!
