Very much a prestige project, the IWC Ingenieur '500,000 A/m' featured a movement especially developed (/altered) to withstand high magnetic fields - though side effect was that it was highly sensitive to temperature changes. The ref. 3508 was a commercial nor functional succes, though it was an admirable attempt.

Such a beautiful watch but like all other reviewers I had the same blem with the band getting dirty. It was ruined after one wear and I have tried everything to clean it but have had no luck! Will have to think twice next time when it comes to a white watch.
