It is a five-minute breakdown on the Spirit collection and this matte black dial version in particular.We ve said it before, but it is worth saying again: seeing a watch in the metal can change an initial opinion in a heartbeat. The way light interacts with the different surfaces (and the ways in which those different surfaces work or don t work together) can alter a watch s character immeasurably.Some watches look ten times better on the wrist than they do in the brand s catalog. While Longines has some very good product photography and nice press material, we still weren t expecting to like this one quite as much as we did.
