Nacho is joined by RJ and Lex, who have come prepared with a list of favorites under six pre-determined categories. And though they ll discuss some of what they consider the best watches of the year, you can decide which of these timepieces will earn the title of Fratello Readers Choice for best watch of 2024. We re kicking things off with Lex, who has been reunited with his Grand Seiko SBGX341. This white-dialed quartz GS has been away at the service center, getting a new battery and a light touch-up. The polished surfaces have been given the Zaratsu treatment that only Grand Seiko s artisans are qualified to give. It s looking fresh and ready for plenty more days on the wrist.RJ is spending some time with the Breguet Type XX. After a not-so-memorable first impression, he decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. Now, three weeks into his month-long loan, he has found himself enjoying the watch more than he imagined. It s his most worn watch of the year and one that he still can t quite get enough of.
