And, as opposed to straps, which are ultimately disposable products, a bracelet feels much more like an integral part of the watch as a whole. Thomas even lends us some of his insights from having recently worked on designing and producing a watch for his brand, VPC. Though he sometimes mixes things up, RJ is adamant that the best way to wear a Speedmaster is on a steel bracelet (or a gold one in the case of his Apollo 11). And though it s an incredibly versatile watch, his Speedy 321 is rarely separated from its lovely flat-link bracelet.Unsurprisingly, Thomas is still batting for his home team with the VPC Type 37HW on his wrist. Unlike in previous appearances, he s wearing the Forest Green variant. It s a relevant pick for this episode as the watch comes on a bracelet that Thomas painstakingly worked on. You ll hear about it in more detail throughout the episode.Finally, Nacho has his Omega Seamaster 300M ref. 2254.50.00 on his wrist. Of the three Fratello team members on today s show, Nacho is the least keen on bracelets. He does acknowledge the appeal, but his experience with neo-vintage (mainly Breitling and Omega) bracelets has not exactly led to an affinity for them.
