Artisans de Geneve has developed a unique balance bridge with Julien Tixier, a young and talented watchmaker from La Vallee de Joux, the heartland of fine watchmaking.? This modified movement is the epitome of Swiss know-how that took hundreds of hours of work to achieve.For more information, click here.Manual WindingConceiving a manual winding mechanism on a modern timepiece was a challenge for the swiss craftsmen. It took Artisans de Geneve two years of research and development to create a barrel that would carry the same functionalities as the automatic mechanism. This barrel replaces the automatic device and the rotor, allowing La Blausee to have a power reserve of 72 hours, a striking achievement.The tachymeter ceramic bezel is entirely realized in Artisans de Geneves workshops in Switzerland. The piece is a delicate reminder of the colors of Blausee.? It is fully polished and brushed by hand. The dial is skeletonized by hand before receiving a sandblasted finish that gives it this unique and intense black color. The case highlights a combination of savoir-faire: satin-brushed horns, sandblasted back and polished angles. The original pushers are replaced with the Millerighe ones, a reference to some iconic Daytona models.
