Introduces Three New Daytona Watches With Meteorite Dials

This year, introduced no fewer than eight new Daytona references, but only one made it to the brands press room during Watches and Wonders. The seven other iterations remained hidden. Luckily, a visit to the brands Brussels offices revealed that 2025 marks the year introduces three new Daytona watches in three gold alloys with meteorite dials. We still didnt have the whole picture, but at least we had the chance to catch up with a trio of astronomical, exclusive creations.In addition to those three, among the seven under-the-radar Daytona references are two more that we want to mention, even if we didn t get to see them when visiting the offices in Brussels. First, hiding (in plain sight) on the brands website is the reference 126508-0008 ($48,800). This Daytona is an updated version of the yellow gold and green John Mayer. Second, there s a refreshing, almost un-Daytona-looking white gold version housing a blue dial with red details that needs a mention, the reference 126509-0005 ($52,300). But for now, lets focus on the watches we had the chance to go hands-on with, three meteorite-dial Daytona chronographs in yellow, white, and pink gold. introduces three new Daytona watches in three gold alloys with meteorite dials introduced six in 2021 and discontinued them not too long ago, only to come back with three updated versions of the meteorite-dial Daytona. These redesigned watches all have ceramic bezel inserts and Oysterflex bracelets instead of precious metal ones. In other words, three of the six predecessors were discontinued indefinitely, and the other three got an update - the right ones, I believe. The gold cases paired with bezels in the same material didnt work the best with meteorite dials. The soft shimmer of a meteorite dial showing an intriguing and random pattern needs a contrasting frame to reach its full hypnotizing potential.Match your meteoriteIt s time to pick the gold you think matches a meteorite dial best. Lets start with the yellow gold reference 126518LN-0016. This is the most classic iteration of the three. The Everose reference 126515LN-0008 is much more contemporary than the yellow gold version, as expected from a pink gold watch. And the white gold reference 126519LN-0007 is by far the most understated execution.The Daytonas updated features debuted in 2023, and these latest 40 46 11.9mm watches also show redesigned elements, like the metal bezel frame, slimmer hour markers, and panda-style sub-dials. The contrasting black ceramic bezel insert and the super comfortable Oysterflex bracelet are key in creating a watch with a strong presence.Reference 126515LN-0008Flexing the OysterflexSome might still find the combination of a precious metal with a rubber strap a bit of an uncomfortable paradox. But the Oysterflex bracelet isnt called a bracelet for nothing. First, two metal blades that bring stability are at its core. These blades are covered with a type of rubber that s more resistant to temperature changes, water, and cracks than other types. On the inside, the bracelet features comfy cushions. It closes with an Oysterlock clasp featuring the Glidelock extension system, allowing up to 20mm of tool-free, notch-by-notch wiggle room for the wrist. Reference 126518LN-0016 Reference 126519LN-0007 Whatever execution you prefer aesthetically, the size of the case and the paired Oysterflex bracelet provide an excellent wrist feel. On top of that, you get the ever-recognizable Daytona look. It features the prominent screwed pushers and a visual bonus with the opulent yet subtle dial. In this configuration, from a pragmatic and functional perspective, these astronomical watches would pass the test for daily beater registration without breaking a sweat. But since using precious metal and space stone makes for an exclusive watch, its hardly likely a meteorite-dial gold Daytona will spend its existence as a GADA piece.Pricing and two other missing Daytona modelsNow that you have made up your mind, you might want to know the monetary consequences of your choice.
